Crm To Sue Paul Atanga Nji In Court For Abuse Of Power
The Cameroon Renaissance Movement (CRM) has decided to attack the decision of Paul Atanga Nji, Minister of Territoral Administration, banning the peaceful march of the party that was initially programmed for Saturday, April 13, 2019.
This decision was made known yesterday by the first vice-president of the party, Yakouba Mamouda, after observing that the decision of the minister is illegal.
While quoting law no 90/55 which fixes the regime for associations and public manifestations, Yakouba pointed out that the Divisional Officer who receives a declaration for manifestation is the only competent authority to ban it.
He has, however, called on the party's militants to remain mobilized and wait for a subsequent date to be announced for the peaceful march.
