Liverpool Fc To Clash With Fc Porto, Manchester City Against Tottenham Hotspur

The battle for the semi finals begin this evening with the first leg games of the European Champions League Quarter Finals. Two interesting fixtures will hold televiewers around the world spellbound; the Reds of Liverpool FC against Portuguese side, FC Porto.


The starting 11 of both teams of the two sides have been named. For Liverpool FC, Alison will be guarding the goalpost. Alexander-Arnold, Lovren, Van Dijk and Fabinho will try to ward off any danger at the defense. At the midfield position, Keita and Henderson will have the task of providing the attackers with the balls and at the same time stop the Portuguese players from having an easy ride. Upfront, the trio comprising of Salah, Mane and Firmino will try to break through the Portuguese defense to score as many goals as possible.


On the bench, Jüggen Klopp will be counting on Mignolet, Gomez, Matip, Wijnaldum, Shaqiri, Origi and Sturridge.


The starting 11 for FC Porto will comprise of the following; Casillas, Maxi, Felipe, Militão, Alex, Telles, Corona, Danilo, Oliver, Octávio, Marega and Soares.


On the bench, FC Porto will be counting on the following; Vaná, Hernãni, Brahimi, André Pereira, Fernando, Andrade, Diogo, Leite and Bruno Costa.


The other Quarter Finals fixture of the night will be a 100% English derby, opposing Tottenham Hotspur to Manchester City. Both Managers have already named their starters.


For the Spurs, the following will start; Lloris, Trippier, Alderweireld, Vertonghen, Rose, Sissoko, Winks, Erikson, Dele, Son and Kane.


On the bench; Gazzaniga, Davies, Sanchez, Foyth, Wanyama, Lucas and Llorente.


As for Man City, the following are starting; Ederson, Walker, Laporte, Otamende, Delph, Fernandina, Gundogan, Silva, Mahrez, Agüero and Sterling.


As substitutes, City could count on Muric, Kompany, Stones, De Bruyne, Sane, Jesus and Golden.
