Kom Cultural And Development Association, Yaounde Gets New Leadership

Kom sons and daughters residing in Yaounde under the umbrella of Kom cultural and development association (KOMCUDA) last sunday 7th April 2019, elected a new exco to pilot the affairs of the association for the next two years. It was an election marked by tension and anxiety.

Despite the heated debate, Njoh Philip was re-elected to the helm of the association with few exco members replaced. It should be noted that since the coming of Njoh Philip-led team, the association has witnessed tremendous improvement within its various ranks.

In the midst of this election, was the significant goodwill and motherly gesture of the Kom Queen mother(NaFoyn) who distributed food items to the internally displace persons from the Kom Fondom.

In her address delivered by Nawain Chiangeh Grace, the Queen Mother stressed that her sons and daughters should give peace a chance and turn to the Almighty for mercies.

It should be noted that a similar exercise took place in Bamenda under the auspices of the Queen mother.
The occasion ended with fanfare and merriment in a characteristic manner of the meeting session every first Sunday of the month.
