Don Shell Stages A Spectacular Come Back To Music After A Period Of Respite
Don Shell may be making in-roots into the music industry in Cameroon just recently, but he is not by any chance, a novice in the trade.
The upcoming, yet multitalented artiste had his first romance with music in 2007 with an amateur group called "D Tox Rap Squad" while still a student. His quest to drink more liquor from the fountain of knowledge obliged him to separate from the crew in order to further his studies, and today he holds a degree in Science of Education.
After dedicating time to his education, Don Shell staged a spectacular come-back to music in December 2019 when he released "Yaweh", a single which is the outcome of a firebrand collabo with T Son Evas. He later on worked with Escola to drop "Lover". These songs topped the playlist in a good of TV channels across the country for months, and the resounding success recorded is still sending shockwaves wherever the songs are played.
Don Shell is an afro dance hall artiste and a multi-lingual rapper making wide use of English, French and Kom languages. His punchlines would get you betting that a person of such endowments has never walked on African soil, yet he is from the North-West Region of Cameroon.
He is the author of another mouth-watering single titled "Oye" that was released on Sunday, July 12, 2020.
The artiste told Eventmeed.com that the soundtrack "Oye" is inspired by a true life story engineered by mistrust and uncertainty, which are factors that have crumbled so many beautiful and promising relationships today.
Through the track, the artiste is sending out a message for people to learn to trust each other, rather than listen to gossips.
Don Shell, who said he is open to any collabos or deals that would promote his talent, added that this time around he is back in the hood to stay.
