Governor Lifts Curfew In The North-West
Inhabitants of the North-West Region have heaved a sigh of relieve following the decision to end the curfew that prohibited movement in the region between 9pm and 6am.
The decision to lift the curfew is contained in a gubernatorial order signed this June 14, by Governor Adolphe Lele Lafrique.
For over eight months, the North-West was under a curfew due to mounting insecurity. It is believed that the Governor's decision has been prompted by the relative calm that now reigns in the region.
