Sonara Suspends Production After Fire Incident
The National Oil Refinery (SONARA) has announced that production activities have been suspended for an undetermined period following the inferno that ravaged part of the corporation.
The company has equally hinted that all supply contracts with partners shall not be met due to this unfortunate incident.
Preliminary investigations have revealed that one of the production units of the company exploded around 9:30pm last evening as a result of an electrical fault.
Firefighters, however, succeeded to put out the flames by 2:00 am, but the material damages incurred are enormous.
